Flip. Swap. Burn. Lowest score wins.

Waiting for the host…
Each player gets a grid of face-down cards (2 rows of 3 or 4, your host's choice). Lower total score is better — the highest score each round loses a life. Four lives and you're out.
Card values: number cards = face value, J/Q = 10, King = 0, Ace = 1. Two matching ranks stacked in the same column cancel out to 0 for that column.
Your first turn each round: flip one column of your own grid face up, then immediately take your turn as normal (draw and discard/swap) before play passes to the next player.
Your turn: draw from the deck (blind) or the burn pile (face up). A deck card can be discarded to the burn pile or swapped into any of your cells. A burn pile card must be swapped in — you can't burn it right back.
Ending a round: the first player to get their whole grid face up ends the round — everyone else gets exactly one more turn, then all hands are revealed and scored.
